The La Mirada city branch meets every Saturday from 1:30-3:30.
We meet at the La Mirada Activity Center which is located

13910 La Mirada Blvd,
La Mirada, CA 90638

Our branch teaches both Reading Comprehension and Math skills to children ranging from grades 2-6.  We stress critical thinking skills and grammar understanding.

To register for the La Mirada branch, you must fill out the YLOC application as well as the La Mirada leader's in training application which can be found here:http://www.cityoflamirada.org/Modules/ShowDocument.aspx?documentid=5338.

Then, you can either turn in the applications to the La Mirada community center or scan them and send it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you want to apply to the math section of La Mirada.

After you turn in your application, they need to schedule a date and time to get your fingerprints scanned. Once your get your fingerprints scanned and are given approval by the city, then you are allowed to tutor at YLOC.
